Program Description

An extraordinary afternoon awaits you in the heart of Oman, where you will discover the country’s striking contrasts - from crystal-clear oases to golden desert dunes. This is a perfect choice if you want to experience something truly special in a short time and see the most photogenic places in the region.

The tour begins with a comfortable pick-up from the Barceló Mussanah Resort and a scenic drive in a 4x4 vehicle through Oman’s picturesque landscapes. The first stop is Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most famous oases in the country. You will immerse yourself in turquoise natural pools and enjoy around an hour for swimming, relaxation, and admiring the rock formations that create a truly paradise-like setting.

After a refreshing break, you will head towards the Wahiba Sands Desert, renowned for its rolling dunes and vast open spaces. An exciting dune drive awaits you, providing a solid dose of adrenaline, followed by a more peaceful moment - a magical desert sunset. You will sit on traditional Arabian carpets and cushions, taste Omani dates, and enjoy tea or coffee while soaking in the silence and beauty of the desert landscape.

After this unforgettable desert experience, you will return to the hotel with lasting memories and stunning photos from one of Oman’s most atmospheric locations.

Dress code for Wadi Bani Khalid: Bring a T-shirt and avoid bikinis or any clothing considered inappropriate out of respect for guides and local communities.
